K-5 teacher certification required for Digital Learning Specialist 

5 years of classroom teaching experience preferred qualification

 

Licensure 

While serving in this role, the individual must hold a current North Carolina Professional Educators license for his/her area of assignment.

Must hold or be eligible to hold a North Carolina Professional Educators license in Elementary Education (K-6).

Digital Learning Specialist (DLS) Job Description 

 

CERTIFICATION: NC Teacher Licensure 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:  Minimum of 5 years successful teaching experience     

 

REPORTS TO: Principal and Digital Learning Instructional Coordinator 

 

PURPOSE: To promote the use of technologies to support student achievement in the K-12 classroom.  The Digital Learning Specialist provides leadership, professional development, and instructional support to all instructional and administrative staff.
